I tell you, December 2011 cannot come soon enough. This movie looks epic. Oh, and this is Ralph Fiennes’ directorial debut? I am so there. Oh, and it has Vanessa Redgrave & Jessica Chastain?

Coriolanus isn’t often mentioned in the grand pantheon of Shakespeare plays (that pantheon being generally limited to Hamlet, MacBeth, King Lear and a couple of others), but T.S. Eliot thought it greater than Hamlet. Personally, I’ve always thought it very underrated, and given that Fiennes has played the role before, I’m very eager to see his interpretation.
